Pakistan’s iconic singer/song-writer Fakhr-e-Alam’s name is all set to go down in history as he successfully completes his journey of circumnavigating the globe in a solo venture becoming the first Pakistani to do so today (Saturday).

In a video message uploaded Friday, the 42-year-old singer informed fans that he will be successfully wrapping up #MissionParwaaz in Florida, from where he had originally kick-started this distinct journey.

“#MissionParwaaz will come to an end tmrw 3rd November 3 30pm at @TBAviation 1000 N Hercules Ave, ClearWater Florida 33765. Come join me to bring home the 1st successful Pakistani circumnavigation home,” he wrote. Read More
Sporting a khaki jumpsuit, Fakhr-e-Alam is piloting a single-engine plane emblazoned with his name.
He is travelling with two experienced pilots on board, as he has less than 100 hours of flight experience.
Alam has so far flown to cities in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He now begins the Asia leg of his tour.
He aims to end his trip, which he has named #MissionParwaaz, in Florida, where he took off from, next month.  Read More
From introducing 'bhangra rap' in Pakistan to being a host, actor and even an activist, Fakhr-e-Alam has made Pakistanis proud all over the world. The 42-year-old man is now ready to embark on an epic mission that will see him fly around the world in 28 days.
Fakhr is aspiring to become the first Pakistani in history to circumnavigate the globe, flying a single engine aircraft. "If I get boxed in with weather, then I will have to stay put on the ground. But yes, our current flight plan is 28 days.'

Three years ago, pop singer Fakhr-e-Alam announced his love for flying and aircrafts. However, after a lot of hard work and determination, the 42-year-old revealed that he is now one step closer to achieving his dreams. He stated that he will be journeying across the globe as part of his project called Mission Parwaaz.
On Sunday, the former Chairman Sindh Censor Board took to Twitter and wrote, “I am happy to report to you all today that after three years of a lot of hard work and persistence, Mission Parwaaz, my attempt to circumnavigate the globe is finally happening.”    Read More

DUBAI: Fakhr-e-Alam, a Dubai-based Pakistani entrepreneur, is set to start the journey of his dreams on Saturday — Oct. 6.
In his “Mission Parwaaz” (Mission Flying), Alam will circumnavigate the globe in 29 days, touching 31 cities across the world. He will be flying Swiss aircraft Pilatus PC12 to cover 26,000 nautical miles distance as solo pilot in only 112 flying hours.

Speaking to Images, Alam talked about his dream, "Three years ago in 2015, after I got my private pilot license in the USA, I went on to get my instrument rating and my twin-engine rating, also from the USA. I'd spoken about how I'm going to circumnavigate the globe and hopefully become the first Pakistani to do so.

The 42-year-old had articulated his passion for flying three years ago and now the singer is buckling up to take things to the next level by embarking on a journey across the globe becoming the first Pakistani to ever board on an venture such as this.

Pakistani singer and activist Fakhr-e-Alam on Wednesday said that his childhood dream of becoming a pilot is close to reality.

Speaking to Geo News, Alam said, “Mission Parwaaz is my childhood dream. I wanted to become a pilot and in 2015 I got my license.”

Now the 42-year-old will attempt to become the first Pakistani to fly solo around the globe.
